Shop Foreman
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Supervisor to lead and oversee daily operations within our construction shop environment. In this vital role, you will oversee the daily operations of the fabrication, welding, and machine shop, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Your leadership will drive project success by managing resources, supervising shop employees, and ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications and schedules. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a deep understanding of fabricating, welding, machining, and safety protocols. Responsibilities
• Adheres to and enforces all company policies.
• Supervises employees.
• Uses a variety of complex measuring equipment.
• Oversees quality control of fabrication shop.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and material.
• Maintains inspection and service schedule on trucks and equipment.
• Purchases materials.
• Schedules outside contractor for some equipment maintenance.
• Ships projects and equipment.
• Uses, understands, and trains employees on all shop equipment to ensure equipment is operated correctly and safely.
• Programs CNC equipment using CAD CAM software.
• Assists as a welder/fabricator/machinist, when necessary.

Skills
Requires a high school education
At least 10 years of experience to include fabrication and welding.
Ability to use advanced shop mathematics, handbook formulas.
Ability to interpret or read drawings.
Personal computer skills to include Foundation, MS Word, MS Outlook, and MS Excel programs.
Must be able to use a wide variety of tools or precision measuring instruments.
Excellent MIG, TIG, and stick welder/fabricator.
Ability to make quick and effective decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High stress factor: Dealing with project changes and customers may be demanding at times.
